[scroll down, please]:

WHAT:   'TIS TIME FOR A MEETING OF THE LOS ANGELES CHAPTER OF THE INS!

WHERE:  SUE ATCHLEY'S HOME, IN THE MANDEVILLE CYN AREA, a place where netsuke history during the LA Golden Age of Netsuke & Sagemono was regularly made

~ email me if you need the address!

Thank you, Sue, for generously offering to host!!

WHEN:  SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2014, FROM NOON* TO 3PM, PACIFIC TIME

Please RSVP me at: dsw90049@gmail.com, so we know how many people will be attending.

Please do not bring any netsuke or sagemono which contain elephant ivory for sale, trade or exchange

-  elephant ivory at our meeting will be for exhibition and educational purposes only

-  we will be discussing very recent developments in, and current uncertainties surrounding, proposed new United States laws concerning elephant ivory trafficking and transactions.

It is rumored that a prominent London dealer of Netsuke and Sagemono will be in attendance, and that, with some coaxing, he may address us with a lecture, the topic being wholly of his own choosing!

*/ We start on real time, not California time!

Kindest Regards,

David
