New York Chapter Meeting

  • Sunday, May 18, 2014
  • 2:00 PM (EDT)
  • Szechuan Gourmet Restaurant

At our upcoming meeting, we will discuss the most recent information regarding the new restrictions on import, export and sales within the U.S. of African elephant ivory and items that contain African ivory (possession of African ivory remains legal).  After our discussion, I will present the ninth installment of Netsuke Questions and Answers .  As in prior installments, I will offer examples of netsuke depicting subjects, and in some cases, objects or materials that many collectors would find challenging to identify.  Please bring any netsuke you have that show subjects, objects or materials that you haven't been able to identify or that you think others may find challenging to identify.  As always, if you have any other netsuke you would like to show to our members, please bring them, as well.

Please bring cash for your food/drink.
RSVP to:  Jeffrey Klotz, 973-616-2988   or jklotz@takaraasianart.com

Best regards,
Jeffrey
