Restaurant phone:  212-737-1838

Please come to our next INS-NYC chapter meeting, where we will have a report on the INS Convention that was held in Baltimore last month and an update on ivory trade regulations.  Also, please bring any netsuke you would like to show to everyone at the meeting or any netsuke about which you may have questions that our attendees may be able to answer.

UPDATE:
We have added one more feature for our upcoming meeting.  I am pleased to tell you that Mr. Takaaki Murakami will be attending our meeting.  Takaaki Murakami is a specialist in the Japanese art department of Christie's Auction House, as well as an associate vice president at Christie's.  He will be bringing with him some netsuke that are highlight pieces from a Christie's online auction that will end on October 20th.  He has also generously offered to invite our attendees to Christie's warehouse after our meeting on that Sunday to view all of the netsuke that are in this online auction.

Whether or not you have already sent an rsvp for this meeting, please let me know if you would like to go to Christie's warehouse after our meeting.  If there is enough interest, we will arrange for that.  Also, if you intend to come to the meeting, but have not yet sent an rsvp, please send one soon.  We have to reserve seats for our attendees at the restaurant.

Please bring cash for your food/drink.

RSVP to:  Jeffrey Klotz, 973-616-2988   or jklotz@takaraasianart.com

Best regards,

Jeffrey
