Please join the NEW YORK chapter of the INTERNATIONAL NETSUKE SOCIETY at its next meeting during New York's Asia Week:
Paul Moss will be presenting an extremely interesting PowerPoint presentation. The theme of Paul's talk will be the two Kyushu artists, Otoman and Bokugyuken Toshiharu, and the Iwami connection. Our meeting will be held on Sunday, March 21st from 10:00 A.M. until noon at Bonham's New York, at 580 Madison Avenue. Bonham's will not be open to the public at 10:00 A.M., but if you come to the front entrance, there will be someone there to let you in and direct you to the room where we will be meeting. From noon until 5:00 P.M. Bonham's will have a preview of their auction of "Fine Japanese Works of Art," including a fine group of inro and netsuke from the Swedlow collection, as well as other netsuke.
