The INS Journal is being mailed on Thursday, August 25th.  All subscribers should know that no requests for replacements will be considered until the end of September, due to the slow delivery by various postal authorities.  We have already had inquiries "where's my Journal?" since some people assumed a July or early August delivery.  Eric and Karen Knudson, who are responsible for these issues, will be unavailable for the next few weeks, and are not able to reply to emails about deliveries.

    We all appreciate your patience!

This email is very important to the International Netsuke Society and to you!!

The INS will be publishing a membership directory this summer. If you are an INS member and you wish your membership information (or part of it) to be included in the directory, you will be receiving an email (if you have an email address) or a postcard (if you have no email address listed with us) which lists your current information that will be published in the directory. If the information is incorrect or if you wish to make changes to what will be published, you need to reply to Karen and Eric Knudson (netsukesociety@gmail.com) with changes. If you are not a current member of the INS, but wish to be included in the membership directory, you will need to join the INS.

If you want your information printed correctly, you must reply by the deadline of Wednesday, JULY 20, 2011!

The 2011 INS Membership Directory will be printed on August 1, 2011.

All replies should be sent to netsukesociety@gmail.com

This will be the first printed Membership Directory since 2008.

    • •1. Are you a member? If not, you will not receive a directory.
    • •2. Is your membership current? If not, you will not be in the directory.
    • •3. Do you wish to have your spouse's name included?
    • •4. If there have been any changes since your last renewal (email address, mailing address, telephone number, spouse, etc., etc.) please notify us.
    • •5. We recognize that certain members do not wish their information included in the directory. If you wish to change this or publish only certain information, please reply.
    • •6. If you are not certain about any of these questions, please reply.
